Job Purpose
To provide customer service for The Arts House, ensuring visitors get the information they need regarding programmes, venue hire, and other general information including directions to nearby places of interest and amenities. To be in charge of the basic housekeeping of the Visitor Services Counter, ensuring the display of only the most relevant digital media, posters, brochures, and other collateral. To provide administrative support for the Asset Management & Leasing department.
Duties and responsibilities
- Front of House
- Manage enquiries to the general hotline and general enquiries email
- Provide information to visitors on programmes, venue hire, and general information
- Update digital signage stands with the upcoming events and programmes
- Housekeep the posters and brochures, ensuring only relevant collaterals are displayed
- Process payment via credit cards, NETS and cash as and when required
- Receive and distribute the mail
- Administrative Support
- To prepare monthly utility recharges
- To collate and process timesheets for casuals
- To process FM purchase requests and purchase orders
- To assist in the maintenance and purchasing of office, pantry and first aid supplies and keep proper records of the inventories, ensuring the purchases are managed meticulously
- To update events onto website
- To maintain and update department’s contact details
- To liaise with HR on the replenish of name cards for the department as and when required
- Other Duties
- To perform any other administrative duties from time to time as assigned by the HOD and the management.
Qualifications
Education
- Minimum "O" levels
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
Skills

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and good written/spoken communication skills (in English)
Others
- Good customer service skills with the ability to deal with the public in a pleasant manner.
