Job Scope
- Manage projects, produce events and programmes under Venue Programmes, including AHL signature events, ad-hoc venue sponsorship requests and partnership events.
- Provide programming support as needed for Venue Programmes, including Cultural Medallion showcase and other programmes and initiatives undertaken by the department, such as (but not limited to) the following:
- Literary programme partnerships at The Arts House
- Award ceremony for Golden Point Award (Dec 23)
- Verve project with Ngee Ann Poly students (Dec 23)
- Aliwal Urban Arts Festival at Aliwal Arts Centre (Jan 24)
- Light to Night/Textures at The Arts House (Jan 24)
- Work as an integral member of AHL Venue Programming team
- Build strong and long-term partnerships with artists, AHL tenants, arts organisations, educators and community organisations to develop and produce programmes and initiatives that achieve AHL objectives.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree preferably in Arts & Events management.
Experience
- Preferably 5 years of project/ events management experience
- Excellent time management skills; strong attention to detail; financial/budgeting diligence
- Strong commitment to teamwork along with creativity, flexibility, tenacity, a high level of energy and good social skills.
- Passion to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the arts and culture scene in Singapore, Event-based work experience and/ or Involvement (curating and/or programming) in festivals or literary programmes is an advantage
